It’s been awhile so an update is overdue.
The women’s football team is going along beautifully and have cemented the top spot but as they would say “there’s a lot of work to be done “.
Keep going girls- Super effort so far.
The senior club has all three sides in the five which is pleasing with the work done as far back as the pre season.
Shane Easton is getting plenty from the boys and the results are evident from the team work and comradeship.
Congratulations to Rhys Clancy and Ben Green on playing senior football so far with others in the mix as well.
Great for the future.
Darren Sidebottom has the boys in the reserves playing well and with good numbers there has been plenty of shuffling with players, positions and all others aspects of what is needed or what is best for the team.
The reserves are sitting second on the ladder and are looking to consolidate there position- Great Stuff.
Ash Green has the seniors playing reasonably with a few occasions showing their real talent and being strong against good opposition.
A few hiccups against Monbulk and Mt Evelyn but to the groups credit they keep having a go.
A great weekend was had with all sides having a win and we look forward to the coming 4 games including a trek to Warburton Millgrove.
The social side has been busy as well with the $10k draw which was well supported and the winner being Gary Todd.
A great function last Saturday with the combined Netball and Football celebrations- very well done to Jenny Burridge, Sarah O’Neill and Peter (China) Holland whose work is appreciated greatly.
The added support of both committees in producing this function doesn’t go unnoticed-thank you.
In closing the update we are all pleased with the efforts of the netball girls who are all showing strong effort and are certainly candidates for finals.

Let’s keep the steady as you go method week in and week out so we are all participants late in the season.
